Freund has a BA in Political Science from Barnard College at Columbia University. She has held full-time roles at ELLE.com, Marie Claire, and Hearst’s commerce team.
Born to immigrant parents and raised in San Francisco, California, Freund spent most of her career in New York City. She is a fluent Spanish speaker, and can swear conversationally in German.
